What you will do
Do you recognize yourself in this: A stolen or missing bike? Let's get it back!
When bikes get stolen, our members feel the pain. And so do we! As our Bike Hunter, you will be in the lead when it comes to recovering missing bikes across Rotterdam. You’ll drive the recovery operation during your shift and act as the go-to contact for the Global Theft & Recovery Specialist, fellow bike hunters, the Customer Service, and the Field Lead. Whether you’re solving complex recovery cases on the street, coordinating staffing and tasks during a shift, or overseeing warehouse and vehicle organization, this role puts you at the heart of our mission.
With trackers installed on our e-bikes and support from law enforcement, you’ll guide the team in using tech and teamwork to bring bikes back to their rightful owners.

How you pedal us forward!
Solves hunting related issues in the field and has all the needed rights in HOK to do so;
Driving the recovery targets by finding Swapfiets bikes with a different status than ‘in use’ by scanning all the bikes on the street during a city sweep
Keeps the vehicle and warehouse clean, tidy and organized;
Getting back missing (or bad debt) e-bikes with an active GPS-tracker
Picking up bikes at the municipality depot and bring them to the warehouse
Register the found (e)bikes in the suggested way
Bringing the found (e)bikes back to our stores / warehouses in a big van
Answers questions, and explains what they’re doing, from members or people passing by during bike hunting or city sweep activities
The gear you need!
Secondary vocational education working or thinking level;
1 year of relevant work experience;
Plus if has a local network in the city;
Preferably experience in restaurant, hotel or other service oriented industries;
In possession of a driver’s license (for a minimum period of 6 months);
Affinity with bikes and service;
Minimum 32 hours a week available, preferably full-time;
Fluent in Dutch and English;
Benefits for a smooth ride!
Your own Swapfiets 🚲 (membership);
Flexible or fixed working hours/days possible.
A set salary of €2817 gross per month.
