I started working as a Planner in Groningen in 2018. My job was to call new members and schedule their first delivery in the store. After three months, the Swapdesk (central customer service) was founded, and I started working as a Store Swapper. I really enjoyed working in the store and found it exciting to see Swapfiets grow over the years. While I was working on my thesis, I got in touch with my predecessor. Her job was very similar to the topic of my thesis. When she told me her position would soon be available, I was excited to apply. Since then, I’ve been very happy in my role as a project manager. I work on many different people-related projects, which keeps me learning all the time. For the past year, I’ve also been organizing internal events at Swapfiets, which has been a fun and rewarding experience.
