What does your ride at Swapfiets look like?
My roommate, who was working at Swapfiets at the time, encouraged me to apply. In 2021, I joined as a customer service agent and from there I grew into the role of Customer Service Lead. In this role I play a key role in implementing various changes and driving improvements within the company - it’s challenging but rewarding at the same time!
What does your ride at Swapfiets look like?

What’s your favorite part of your job?
I genuinely enjoy seeing things work. It’s fulfilling to witness the positive outcomes of implementations and how difficult changes add value over time. I also appreciate when team communication becomes better, leading to better collaboration and overall success.

Culture and people. Swapfiets isn’t just about sustainability or encouraging people to go for a bike instead of car use—it’s about creating meaningful experiences for both customers and employees. We started as a student-run company and transformed into a professional organization. The core is there but strategies are changing.
