As the Finance Intern at our Amsterdam HQ, you’ll maintain financial integrity by analysing financial data and contribute to a contract ledger project. You will work within the Accounting and Control pillar of the Finance department and will support the Manager of Accounting and Control, and the Financial Controllers, one of whom will be your mentor.

How you pedal us forward:

You will become a part of our internal Accounting and Control pillar of the Finance team and work alongside our Financial Controllers. Next to that you’ll: 

• Contribute to projects aimed at the contract ledger database

• Assess and maintain the quality and completeness of the contract ledger database

• Connect with stakeholders to make sure all relevant documentation is filed properly

• Analyse and report on lease liability commitments

• Through analysis, you’ll identify new improvement areas and contribute to our 2025 reporting

• Provide year on year analysis comparisons and commentary by translating numbers into the story

The gear you need:

You are currently studying Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have a strong enthusiasm for numbers, projects, and finance data analysis and reporting. Besides that, you are enthusiastic about maintaining data integrity, and you are ready to improve your skills together with us. Next to that you bring:

• Minimum HBO-working and thinking level;

• A financial mindset with strong analytical skills;

• Passionate about translating numbers into a story;

• Enthusiastic about developing skills in a variety of finance related systems;

• Enthusiasm for creating and executing a project;

• Efficient at organizing and maintaining project files and timelines;

• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate your findings;

• You have a can-do attitude, love tackling new challenges, and thrive in a collaborative environment;

• Fluent English speaking and writing skills;

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university, or are on an exchange program that allows you to do an internship in The Netherlands;

• You are available for 6 months;

• You can start from September;

• You are available at least 32 hours per week (with availability to work from the office Tuesday and Thursday, and more often if you want to).
