We are looking for a highly structured and detail-oriented Finance Operations Intern to join our dynamic Finance Team at our Amsterdam HQ. If you are eager to learn how finance operations drive a growing international company from the inside out, this is your next ride!

As our Finance Operations Intern, you will dive straight into the engine room of our finance department. This is a practical, hands-on role where you will support our daily operational finance activities across multiple countries. You will work within the Finance department, gaining direct exposure to accounts payable, digital workflows, and international finance processes. It’s the perfect place to understand how structured work and clear documentation ensure smooth business continuity.

How you pedal us forward
You will support our daily business continuity by taking ownership of various operational finance tasks. Together with the team, you will:

• Manage invoice workflows: Support the digital invoice processing and ensure everything flows smoothly.

• Handle finance communication: Take charge of the finance mailbox and document handling.

• Follow up with creditors: Support creditor relations and payment follow-ups.

• Keep administration flawless: Assist with bank, receipt, and expense administration.

• Optimize systems: Maintain and update finance systems and process administrations.

• Support the team: Assist with other general finance operations and cross-country tasks.

What you will learn
This internship is designed to give you a solid foundation in finance. You will gain practical, real-world experience in accounts payable, creditor follow-up, and document control. Additionally, you’ll get valuable insights into how digital workflows and clear communication support reliable operations across multiple European entities.

The gear you need
You are, or were recently, a student, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. You thrive on structured work, enjoy recurring operational tasks, and have a sharp eye for detail.

Next to that, you bring:

• Minimum HBO/WO working and thinking level;

• An accurate mindset and the ability to follow process instructions carefully;

• Enthusiasm for developing skills in digital finance systems and workflows;

• Excellent communication skills with a professional fluency in English (written and spoken);

• A collaborative, hands-on 'can-do' attitude;

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university, or are on an exchange program/recent graduate visa that allows you to do an internship in The Netherlands;

• Availability for 6 months, starting as soon as possible;

• Availability for 32-40 hours per week.
