Do you recognize yourself in this?

As a Mechanic Lead you are the indispensable link within the coolest team in our operation. You are largely responsible for the quality of our city bikes and e-bikes. In addition, you ensure that we are never surprised with our stock amounts! You make sure your team has a safe and fun environment to work in!

Your responsibilities:

• You lead the coolest team within the Swapfiets, consisting of technicians, mechanics, and senior mechanics in our warehouse with up to 18.000 repairs per year 💪🏻

• Coordinate daily tasks, host team meetings, inform, and motivate the team to achieve daily targets, while also being responsible for team development

• Create the shift planning for your team

• Lead the Swapfiets quality promise following the standard operating procedures and the quality controls and audits

• Help out with HR related processes such as recruitment, performance management, sickness and leave

• For 30% of your time, you actively support the Team on the floor by handling bike repairs

• Coordinate preparation of new (E-)Bikes and make them roadworthy

• You ensure a safe working environment for everyone
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special repairs

• You are the main point of contact and support warehouse protocols

• Responsible for providing the repair supply forecast in the S&OE process and the execution of this forecast

Your profile:

• You have a secondary vocational education (MBO) work/level, preferably in a technical direction

• You ideally have 1-3 years experience in a process-oriented environment

• You are able to coach and enthuse colleagues

• You are available full time

• You have an eye for detail and a perfectionist streak

• You can communicate well in English
