Do you have SAP S/4HANA experience and know what it takes to ensure an accurate and complete finance administration? Then we want you as our newest team member!

You will be part of the financial control team, as part of the finance team (19 people). You will join a team that works 2 days a week at the office and 3 days from home. Sometimes we work hard (especially during month end close), but we give lots of fun and flexibility back. Also, we have dedicated time to learn and/or develop anything you want!


Ready to join our team as full-time Accounts Payable Clerk? This opportunity is open for 32 - 40 hours a week.

The responsibilities of this job are (but not limited to):

  • You own the Purchase to Payables process in our newly implemented SAP S/4HANA (Public) Cloud system;

  • You play a key role in the transition to SAP, meaning you develop working instructions in SAP and coach the rest of the team;

  • You work closely together with our Products department to discuss open orders, invoices, purchase orders and assist them in preparing sales invoices;

  • You will provide cost control over AP and inventory;

  • You assist in the salary process of the Swapfiets employees, checks input from local HR and perform checks and balances;

  • Assist in the finance related activities and projects to improve business processes; and

  • After the month-end close, it’s time for the VAT returns, which you will prepare for certain entities and discuss with the junior finance manager.

Job requirements

Your profile:

Our ideal candidate will be somebody with extensive SAP, preferably S/4HANA knowledge and has multiple years experience of working within finance role(s). Next to that, you bring:

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Good skills in English, fluent in Dutch (other languages like German or Danish are a big plus)

  • Critical and analytical thinking towards our processes to keep things simple and efficient;

  • Applies acquired expertise to analyse and solve problems without clear precedent;

  • Great team spirit.
