We are looking for a Analytics Engineer to help scale our customer data platform, supporting analytics initiatives across the organisation. Do you enjoy optimising data for high-impact analysis, building reliable data models, and ensuring data quality at scale? Are you ready to join a collaborative, fast-paced team that values data as a strategic asset? Then this might be the adventure for you! This opportunity is open for 40 hours a week.

Do You Recognise Yourself in This?
As a Analytics Engineer, you will be a key player within our data engineering team, working closely with the Data Analytics, Data Science, and Customer Data teams. You will help build and optimise our customer data platform, ensuring consistent, high-quality data is available to support reporting, decision-making, and personalisation initiatives.

If you have strong skills in dbt, Snowflake and are excited about building a scalable data platform to drive insights, this could be the perfect role for you! 🚲 🚀

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead the development of the analytics engineering components within our customer data platform, ensuring data is reliable, structured, and ready for business analysis and reporting.

  • Work closely with the Data Analytics, Data Science, and Customer Data teams to support analytics needs and ensure consistency and integration across data sources for personalised customer insights.

  • Design and implement dbt models in Snowflake, creating structured, scalable datasets that are optimised for reporting and analysis. Ensure data readiness to support evolving business needs.

  • Use Monte Carlo to establish automated data quality monitoring, safeguarding the accuracy and consistency of data pipelines across the platform. Implement data validation and error monitoring to maintain high standards.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including data models, transformations, and quality processes, ensuring data is transparent and accessible across the organisation.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including Analysts, Engineers, and customer data teams, on platform improvements and developments. Clearly present technical concepts to various audiences to support alignment with business goals.

  • Support and guide team members in best practices for analytics engineering, with a focus on data quality, modelling, and optimisation for analytics.

Job requirements
