What you will do
Hi, we are Swapfiets! 👋 Welcome to the world of worry-free biking! We are providing members an all-inclusive bike subscription with free repairs and maintenance and lead the movement to more liveable cities.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to help keep our bikes and spare parts moving smoothly across our markets. In this role, you’ll combine planning, data and coordination to make sure the right bikes and parts are in the right place at the right time.

As our Supply Chain Planner, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running efficiently. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you’ll coordinate the transportation of spare parts and batteries from our distribution centre to local warehouses, while monitoring stock levels, inventory accuracy and demand.
You’ll work closely with warehouses, logistics teams, 3PL partners and purchasing to ensure availability across our markets. Using data and SAP, you’ll identify potential shortages, optimise stock allocation and solve issues before they impact our operations.
How you pedal us forward:
Ensure the smooth and timely transportation of Swapfiets bikes and spare parts from our distribution centre to local warehouses
Coordinate daily planning with carriers, transport companies, warehouses and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and follow-up
Maintain and manage SAP activities related to transportation, inventory and spare-parts planning
Provide and coordinate the required documentation for shipping and customs processes and solve issues arising during transport or import
Analyse stock levels, days of stock and inventory data, monitoring stock accuracy and identifying potential shortages, slow-moving and obsolete stock
Co-create and monitor stock allocation plans for critical SKUs across our warehouses, ensuring the right parts are available where they are needed most
Participate in creating demand forecasts and translate expected demand into actionable supply and inventory plans
Review and adjust spare parts order requests from warehouses to balance availability, inventory levels and costs
Review MRP output and release purchase requisitions to the purchasing team, ensuring supply plans are followed up effectively
Act as the first point of contact for warehouses on spare-parts and transportation-related questions and proactively resolve supply chain issues
Monitor key supply chain KPIs, including OTIF, transport costs, stock discrepancies and availability, and identify opportunities for improvement
The gear you need:
Higher vocational thinking level (HBO or equivalent)
1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics or planning
Experience with (global) logistics and/or material planning
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
Experience working with SAP or different ERP system is preferred
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English and strong preference for Dutch-speakers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
