As Warehouse Manager you are running the show for the daily operations of our Warehouse in Groningen. This means you will be responsible for the service of more than 21.000 Swapfiets members and the supply to 4 cities in the north-east region of The Netherlands! You are the point of contact for the leads in the Warehouse and therefore also responsible for the optimal functioning of your team. With you as a manager, the Warehouse will never be the same!
Leads and develops (including on- and offboarding) the team of Leads, Bike Mechanics and other employees in the warehouse (15-25 fte)
Oversees operations in the warehouse, maintains the supply and optimizes processes
Organizes the flow through the warehouse (including triage in store and warehouse) and coordinates other employees in the warehouse
Owns all supporting conditions in the warehouse to ensure warehouse can work safe and effectively (safety, work clothing, lockers etc.)
Maintains the stock of bikes and spare parts of the local warehouse by calling off supply of bikes or spare parts
Optimizes workflow in the local warehouse; implements optimizations and projects from Team Supply Chain Innovation

Secondary vocational education
3-5 years of relevant work and managerial experience
Preferably experience in planning, control and change management
Affinity with bikes and service
Fluent in English and Dutch
