Your Mission
As a Warehouse & Logistics Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for our Qarehouses in Berlin and Leipzig. Together with the local teams, you ensure that various locations within the District are always equipped with Swapfietsen. In addition, you make sure that the processes in the warehouses are constantly improved and that the teams in Berlin and Leipzig do their work with enthusiasm. The position includes the following tasks:

  • You will lead and develop two local teams in Berlin and Leipzig, the team comprises 3 leads as well as a large number of two-wheel mechatronics engineers, bicycle fitters and other warehouse employees.
  • You will optimize processes in both warehouses, considering local needs.  In addition, you translate global optimization projects into local measures.
  • You always have an overview of the success and problems of all processes as well stock count in the warehouses as well as the logistics between the various warehouses and stores, so that you can present relevant information and KPIs at any time.
  • You are responsible for observing and implementing safety measures in the warehouse so that all employees can work safely and effectively.


Your Profile:

  • Logistics topics are your passion - you have gained relevant expertise and experience thanks to apprenticeships, studies and / or previous employments 
  • You have strong communication skills in both German and English, so that you can communicate with the mechanics on site and with our international team
  • Ideally, you have already been able to lead a larger team and therefore know the joys and challenges of leadership
  • You work results-oriented, you can handle several tasks at the same time, both in the long and short term, and you can assess when it is better to act than to wait.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills in a constantly growing company
