Your responsibilities:

• You lead the coolest team within the Swapfiets, consisting of technicians, mechanics, and senior mechanics;

• You coordinate the daily tasks and organize team meetings in which you always manage to motivate your team.

• As a Mechanic Lead you also help with HR related processes such as recruitment, performance management, illness and leave;

• You are responsible for keeping our stock management up-to-date;

• You coordinate quality checks and the correct processing of data;

• You support new colleagues with the onboarding program and provide training;

• You ensure a safe working environment;

• We strive for a 100% recyclable bicycle. As a point of contact for the waste flows in the workshop, you play an important role in making us more sustainable.

Your profile:

• You are a certified bike mechanic

• You have already gained relevant experience as a bike mechanic or similar

• You have experience in leading a team and know how to motivate and coach people

• You are enthusiastic about bicycles, good service and sustainability

• You have an eye for detail and you will find even the smallest mistake

• You work just as well independently as in a team

• You speak German and / or English
