We are seeking a driven Senior Warehouse Operations Manager who is ready to take on the exciting challenge to lead and manage the daily operations of our Amsterdam warehouse!

You will be responsible for ensuring optimal functioning of the warehouse that serves over 70,000 members and employs 60 staff members. You act as the point of contact for leads, maintain stock levels, improve processes, and overall drive a culture of safety and discipline.

Being in charge of balancing output, quality, and costs within the assigned budget, you will ensure that we provide our stores with bikes that last. As Senior Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 5 direct reports and 60 FTEs, including leads, bike mechanics, and logistic operators. Together you are responsible for a repair volume of over 4.000 bikes/month.

You will oversee warehouse operations, maintain the supply, and work on improving our processes. Another one of your responsibilities will be organizing the flow through the warehouse, including triage in store and warehouse, and coordinating other employees in the warehouse. Ensuring safety and discipline will be a top priority, as well as maintaining the stock of bikes and spare parts.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing Continuous Improvement projects at the warehouse and driving a CI mindset in the team, so we can take the Amsterdam Warehouse to the next level!

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• higher vocational working or thinking level,

• 7 - 10 years of relevant work and managerial experience,

• preferably experience in planning,

• control and change management,

• You should have an affinity with bikes and service,

• and be fluent in English and basic knowledge of Dutch.
