Want to turn the world of cycling upside down and take the digital experience of more than 160,000 customers and our entire servicing squad to the highest level?

In this role, you will be part of the Product team and get responsibility for our products in the ‘Operations’ domain. What does this mean? For providing service to all 160K customers, we have 1100+ colleagues who use our internal products for doing this as efficient as possible. These products are developed by a multi-disciplinary team, for which you will become the Product Owner.


What are you going to do?

  • Understand your user, building insight by being out there and working with your UX Design, Data Analyst and Tech Support colleagues;

  • Get involved in feature definition, defining the problem to be solved, clearly expressed in data and an understanding of user behavior;

  • Manage the backlog and participate in Scrum ceremonies to contribute to - and keep track of feature delivery and roadmap progression;

  • Team up with the Product Manager who leads roadmap prioritization, for stakeholder collaboration and working ahead of the game;

  • Work with your team of Backend Engineers (C#), Frontend Engineers (Angular), a Designer, Tester and Scrum Master for feature delivery;

  • Organize sprint demo’s for your stakeholders, presenting the outcome created by the team, by reaching their goal you’ve set for the sprint.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Product Owner / Manager, having worked directly with a team in a Digital context;

  • Deep understanding of business (operational) processes and proven experience with embedding those in Digital products;

  • Great juggling skills, you know how to manage your workload AND stakeholders. This is what you like & what you’re good at;

  • Good understanding of Scrum Fundamentals. Where the team gets stuck, is where you provide guidance;

  • Joy at giving demos, transferring knowledge, and mentoring junior colleagues;

  • Plenty of courage: you are not afraid to show entrepreneurship and take responsibility for getting things done;

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is considered a plus;

  • A plus: having a basic understanding of C# and Javascript (Angular), and having experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and ProdPad.
