Amsterdam (HQ), Noord-Holland, NetherlandsTech
Job description
Do you want to turn the world of cycling upside down and take the digital experience of more than 270,000 members to the highest level?
We are Swapfiets; started in 2014 and currently active in 70+ cities, across 9 different countries. At our HQ in Amsterdam, we work with around a hundred colleagues to offer the very best user experience to our members, who in turn receive epic service from a team of 1500+ Swappers and Mechanics.
We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Designer to join our UX Design team as part of a new squad that will work with two of our product teams who build capabilities and tools to support all our colleagues who directly serve our members. As the direct point of contact for these teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right UX priorities are picked up by you and one other designer and you will drive collaboration across the product teams and the UX Design department.
What will your responsibilities look like?
You set the user experience vision within your scope and ensure that partners & stakeholders are bought in and aligned to it.
You use user research and cross-functional discovery to develop hypotheses to test and use various data sources to shape your design decisions.
You pair with your product and engineering partners to shape OKRs and advocate for the right UX priorities to be prioritized, linking these with clear business outcomes.
You deliver high quality design solutions, working to elevate the quality of our design systems and how we work with development to translate design to development.
You thrive in driving strategic cross-functional projects that span teams and areas of the user experience.
You contribute to building a high performing design team by mentoring and coaching other designers and role modeling the Swapfiets values (Made Simple, Grow Further, Be Supportive)
