For the rapid growth of Swapfiets, we are looking for a Product Sourcing Planner. As a Product Sourcing Planner, you will make an important contribution to our supply chain and bike planning process. You ensure that our bikes are ordered and delivered at the right time and in the right quantities.
In addition, you are involved in the development of our new bikes by ordering bike part samples according to the BOM, so sample bikes can be created before starting mass production.
Furthermore, you are keeping track of product- and supplier data to make sure that our systems are up-to-date with the right information.
You will be part of the nine headed Products team, where you’ll report to the Product Sourcing Manager. Next to this, you’ll be in touch with teams and partners in all different countries.
Own the bike production from purchase order until delivery in the central warehouse
Find solutions for the part shortages at our assembly partner to avoid production delays
Implementing product changes at assembly supplier and follow up to get BOM correct
Setting up sample planning (parts and bikes) and get samples delivered in time for new bike development
Managing supplier- and product data in ERP system
Improving the way of working in the ERP system and flag challenges
Proactively feeds the OKR process to determine the priorities
Make sustainable choices on transportation of parts/bikes and packaging of our products
Coaching the juniors with best practises.
As a Product Sourcing Planner, you have proven that your order administration is on point. You are a team player who thinks ahead at all times. You have experience with planning and purchasing materials. Furthermore, you are ready for a challenge and can’t wait to join our mission → being the #1 micromobility brand in the world! Also, you have/are:
Higher vocational (HBO+) working and thinking level (for example in logistics/economics)
3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the supply chain field
Experience with planning processes
Flexible and adaptive to change
Thorough analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills
Fluent in English language
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the bike industry
Extensive experience with Excel
Knowledge of SAP ERP system
Fluent in Dutch language
