We are Swapfiets: the bike membership. Started in 2014, started scaling in 2017 and are currently active in nearly 70 cities, across 9 different countries. We are on a mission to lead the movement to more liveable cities across Europe. Currently we have over 220,000 members on a blue tire.
We are looking for a Product Sourcing Manager based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Products/ one of the founders (Martijn Obers) and play an important role in making sure all needed products are delivered on time with a high quality to our central distribution center. Once you join Swapfiets, you will be in charge of setting up your own team including a Sourcing Planner.
It will be both a strategic role but also very hands on where you are in charge of the sourcing and external supply chain of our products. You will be in contact with teams and partners in all different countries and sometimes even visit your colleagues over there!
You will also play an important part in realising our ambition to create fully circular products. As we need to reinvent several supply chains to make that happen!
End to end responsible to make sure that Swapfiets has all needed products (for our bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-kick scooters) on time with high quality according to specifications.
Lead the cooperation & meetings with all swapfiets product suppliers.
In charge of the forecast of all Swapfiets products.
Select the best partners to assemble our products.
Oversees ordering of products & parts at the different partners.
Work closely with the team at Pon.Bike to align capacity.
Align the product supply with Swapfiets strategy.
Realize more sustainable & circular supply chains
Supervise and improve the outsourcing team.
Responsible for the external Supply Supply chain.

Academic working and thinking level.
7 - 10 years of relevant working experience.
Experience with sourcing processes.
Great knowledge of the bike industry and the developments.
Experience in working with operational teams.
Fluent in English.
