We are Swapfiets: the bike membership. Started in 2014, started scaling in 2017 and are currently active in nearly 70 cities, across 9 different countries. We are on a mission to lead the movement to more liveable cities across Europe. Currently we have over 220,000 members on a blue tire.


Your goal
We are looking for a Marketing Manager Acquisition & Retention to drive our entire funnel from acquisition of new members through outstanding performance marketing towards optimized website conversions through to great retention of our members across our 9 markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop a coherent strategy and framework that drives awesome inflow of new members and great retention.

  • Optimize the performance marketing strategy together with the experts in your team and our digital teams to drive excellent metric results throughout our 9 markets.

  • Lead the development and implementation of our retention strategy together with the digital teams, to drive life-long membership.

  • Lead and develop a team of performance marketing, digital marketing and retention specialists with global responsibility.

  • Work together with the digital team to optimize our website conversion strategy.

  • Work together with the digital team to optimize the experience and functionality of our app.

  • Gathers marketing and member insights to improve the acquisition and retention journey.

Your profile
You are an expert when it comes to performance marketing and retention and are ready to take big steps together with Swapfiets. You will jump in right in time as we are planning to make a big impact with a renewed acquisition and retention strategy.
You’ll bring:

  • Academic working and thinking level.

  • 7-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a subscription e-commerce environment.

  • Strong affinity with numbers and analytically driven.

  • 4-6 years of recent and relevant performance marketing and website conversion experience.

  • Strong leader in the organization with the ability to align various departments around the vision.

  • Fluent in English.
