As a Logistics Manager you will lead and develop a large logistics team with over 45 FTE. Next to that you will be responsible for running 10.000 logistics actions per month! You are the one who defines the logistic operations plans to support the growth strategy for the Benelux. You are based in the new repair center in Den Bosch, but your teams are working from several locations in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Your responsibilities

  • You provide input to the demand planning & distribution on improvement of processes and business decisions from a regional perspective;

  • You plan the regional supply plan by balancing refurbished and new products distribution to meet customer demand using the input from the S&OP processes;

  • You drive the logistics operation and coordinates the execution of the Demand & Supply plan and ensures timely delivery of the right product SKUs the right location;

  • You reduce the global transportation costs and environmental footprint;

  • You will organize the product recovery and stock counts process as a shared responsibility;

  • You will manage the timely distribution of a regions supply for bikes and spare parts;

  • You will drive the transition from a decentralized distribution and storage model to efficient central and 3PL solutions.

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Higher vocational and thinking level on a technical/supply chain level;

  • 5 -7 years of relevant work experience;

  • Excellent in English and/or local language;

  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management;

  • Knowledge of Supply Planning;

  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff;

  • Strong analytical & didactical skills;

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
