As a Logistics Lead, you are an essential part of Swapfiets's logistics operation. You will manage 3.600 logistics actions per month. Besides being an expert in the field of logistics, stock management and safety, you are the one who coordinates and schedules the work of truck drivers and logistics operators. Overview and safety are your top priorities. You also see cycling as the solution for a sustainable future!

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage Logistics over 3.600 logistics actions per month (First deliveries, Drop Offs, In/outbound, Exchanges and Bike Handling) with more than 6 FTE logistics employees;

  • Coordinates and schedules the work of truck drivers and logistics operators;

  • Schedules inbound product deliveries to the Warehouse;

  • Manage outbound loading of products and regional and local transportation between warehouses and stores in order to optimize stock levels and maximize the service levels;

  • Oversee external products storage overflow locations and plans inbound and outbound transportation;

  • Ensure timely delivery of the right product SKUs to the right locations, including B2B bulk deliveries;

  • Plan the execution and contributes to the allocation decisions in order to deliver products to the target markets and customers (B2B and B2C);

  • Manage the minimum stock levels of spare parts warehouse region;

  • Organize ‘City Sweeps’ to recover missing assets;

  • Organize stock counts and is owner of product movement tracking data;

  • Being a back-up for central logistics processes such as intakes and distribution centre logistics.

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • Driver’s licence;

  • You have driving experience and are a good driver;

  • You have good traffic insight and know your way around the city;

  • You have affinity with bikes and service;

  • You speak the local language and/or English;

  • Optional: you have the certificate to drive a forklift truck or pump truck.
