In this role you will be responsible for the further professionalization/development of all HR admin processes (from hire to retire) and the associated HR & IT tooling in several countries. You will set up & streamline HR processes, further expand the functionalities of the current HR systems, develop HR dashboards and all you think we need at Swapfiets to be able to grow. You are the leading expert for further professionalization in Belgium, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands in an international company with over 1200 colleagues in 4 countries with a possibility of  expansion outside Europe. In a growing organization the basis is there but we need an expert to build a more scalable and efficient HR infrastructure to support growth and to deliver smooth service towards our employees. With the freedom to give your own interpretation, in a changeable environment within the HR services Team, we are looking for a HR Services Teamlead.

Your responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the further professionalization, development and implementation of all HR Admin processes and HR IT systems within Swapfiets global; 

  • Your HR heart will beat faster, you can't wait to further automate HR and optimize the possibilities of our systems;

  • You will report to our HR Director and directly lead the 2 HR Services Employees at HQ and the local HR employees in Denmark, Belgium & Germany;

  • You will be ultimately responsible for the in-, through- and outflow admin processes and the HR/IT landscape in the countries where Swapfiets is active (now: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark);

  • You drive a culture of continuous improvement to ensure a professional, effective and legally correct HR service that covers the entire life cycle of the Swapfiets employee;

  • You review, create and update all HR services processes to form a fully effective HR Services function providing a consistently excellent experience to all employees;

  • You deliver a culture of continuous improvement to ensure a professional, effective and legally compliant HR service covering the whole employee life cycle;

  • You are responsible for ensuring the HR Services Team is resourced with the right skills, knowledge and focus in line with business needs;

  • You will be the Data Owner for all data held by the HR Services team;

  • You lead on processing and administration of annual salary review process.

Requirements

Your skills
  • You have experience in setting up HR tooling in the Netherlands or Germany in an international environment. If you also have experience with further expansion outside of Europe we can’t be happier;

  • You have 7 - 10 years of HR Admin/IT experience; preferably in a fast growing international organisation;

  • You have significant experience in HR, including managing a (global) HR Services team;

  • You have in depth knowledge of HR Administration responsibilities within an HR Service/customer centric environment;

  • You have experience working in AFAS or other HR Admin systems;

  • You have a strong understanding of payroll and employment legislation preferably in Germany;

  • You think in terms of processes: you see improvements everywhere and tackle them with both hands;

  • You are good at thinking ahead and you will also set up Swapfiets's HR processes accordingly and make them scalable; 

  • You are extremely good at making analyses and are driven by everything that has to do with data;

  • You can function well in a changing environment because at Swapfiets no day is the same and we get bigger every day;

  • You have an excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills;

  • You have effective communication skills to work with individuals at all levels within the organisation;

  • You like to finish with you started and make sure others follow your example.
