Do you recognize yourself in this?

As a bike mechanic at Swapfiets you are an essential part of the growth and continuity of Swapfiets. In this role you will repair all of our original and e-bikes without supervision. You are the expert in making sure our bikes are roadworthy and safe. Besides, you will make sure we deliver the Swapfiets quality day in, day out.

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for repairing Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles on your own with no supervision needed;

• You will prepare new Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles and make them roadworthy;

• You will ensure the Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicle product and repair data is properly captured and up to date in repair database;

• You will be handling special case Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles (in use, double frame numbers, founds, missings, special brokens that require documentation for insurance/police);

• You will organize broken inflow and pre-organizing Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles for mechanics (Triage);

• Work in a safe way (safety is everyone's responsibility).

Your Profile:

• You are a certified bicycle mechanic / bicycle repairman or car mechanic (MBO), although experience and craftsmanship are more important;

• You have affinity with bikes and service;

• You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;

• You speak Dutch and basic English;

• You are available full time (or at least 32 hours);

• There is no bike you can not fix!
