We are Swapfiets; started in 2014 and currently active in 70+ cities, across 9 different countries. At our HQ in Amsterdam, we work with around a hundred colleagues to offer the very best user experience to our customers, who in turn receive epic service from a team of 1500+ swappers and bike mechanics.

In this role you are part of the Data team; the heart of our operation. Our team consists of three separate teams, Engineering, Science and Analytics, and you will join the Data Analytics team. In this team every Analyst works and specializes in different domains such as Operations, Finance, Product, HR etc. You will analyze and visualize our data and you will spend a lot of time with your domains (to be determined) to understand their problems and needs. In addition, you create insights and methods on your own initiative to become even more data-driven.

You are the dedicated analyst for your domains and the most important link between the available data and the business needs. Because of this role you have a lot of authority for the best possible data solutions. We are looking for someone who can act as an analyst in different domains but also help us reach our Analytics goals such as, creating more data awareness, improving data quality and implementing data governance. There is room to grow, but if you're already a rock star in one or more of these areas, that's a big plus!

What will you do?

• Lead on support for Finance and Operations with insights in order to take data driven decisions by measuring and analyzing data

• Generate reports and dashboards to support business projects and needs

• Contribute on identifying improvements to the Data architecture

• Maintain a clean and understandable data overview for your department

• Contribute in solutions that can be automated through data engineering

• Contribute to our Analytics goals such as, creating more data awareness, improving data quality and implementing data governance

• Coach and provide training to get less experienced colleagues to a higher level of data understanding and usage

What skills do I need?

• Higher vocational working and thinking level on a data/statistics level

• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience

• Critical thinking

• Experience with SQL

• Knowledge in Tableau or other data visualization tools or eager to learn

• Experience working in Scrum

• Bonus if you have have worked with DBT and Pycharm
