We are Swapfiets: the bike membership. Started in 2014, started scaling in 2017 and are currently active in nearly 70 cities, across 9 different countries. We are on a mission to lead the movement to more liveable cities across Europe. Currently we have over 220,000 members on a blue tire.


Your goal

We are looking for a Brand Manager responsible for the marketing of Swapfiets within France. You have got a good understanding of our customers and the opportunities within this country. You’ll be setting up successful marketing campaigns and be in touch with influencers of the French cities. Your work location can either be our HQ in Amsterdam or in France as long as you speak the local language (French)!

You’ll be working together with a team of other brand managers and divide impactful projects together. So that means you’ll also be working on global campaigns.

Your Responsibilities
You will:

  • Execute global campaigns & projects as part of the annual brand plan.

  • Initiate and execute local activations/ partnerships with influencers/other parties where that fits the overall brand strategy.

  • Be responsible for flawless local execution of key initiatives.

  • Provide insights into the local consumers & industry developments to the wider brand team & organisation.

  • Be responsible for key translations of all content (web/app/product/campaigns/social media).

  • Be responsible to align 1 key touchpoint (ie website, store etc) with the strategic brand strategy & identity.

  • Execute local events in liaison with operations.

  • Ensure localization where needed is always top-of-mind across the organisation.

  • Assist in handling PR requests in liaison with Global PR & Comms manager.

Requirements

Your profile

You are a vibrant, enthusiastic and go-getter type of person just like we are at Swapfiets. You’re result driven, have got strong project management skills and are up for a challenge. Next to this you have got:


  • Academic working and thinking level.

  • 3-5 years of work experience in relevant positions.

  • Proactive and hands-on mentality.

  • Excellent in English and local language (French).
