We are Swapfiets; started in 2014 and currently active in 70+ cities, across 9 different countries. At our HQ in Amsterdam, we work with around a hundred colleagues to offer the very best user experience to our customers, who in turn receive epic service from a team of 1500+ swappers and bike mechanics.

In this role you will be a member of our IT Team, which plays an important part within Swapfiets TECH department. Your function will be understanding our core systems and processes which you will dare to challenge when necessary. You will manage and support in-house built core applications HOK & Smooth, which are the backbone of our operations and its planning. Next tot this you will be in charge of HOK’s User Roles & Permissions and serve as a liaison between IT, Business, Digital Product and Engineering teams, in order to drive our digital product to the next level. With this you will be the authority behind the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Okta management, making sure all IAM processes are properly enforced, maintained and automated.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the HOK&Smooth (in-house built apps) & Okta application to provide continuity

  • Own the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) process in Okta (including Okta Group management, SSO/SCIM config, App Allocation)

  • Handle and resolve 2nd & 3rd line cases , including coordination with external suppliers

  • Lead, signal and take necessary action in vulnerability issues via simulations, disaster recovery plans that include testing & other preventive measures

  • Support with communication and coordination around implementation of patches and new releases with end users.

  • Keep documentation of application up to date, incl. user manuals & create and maintain an application handbook

  • Manage and improve the IAM processes (Rights & Roles management)

  • Reporting on progress of operational issues to senior management, end users and stakeholders

  • Propose improvements (technical and procedural) and if necessary escalate problems to team/manager/leadership

  • Monitor SLA’s and report abnormalities and deviations including conclusions, recommendations and actions

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will have

  • Higher vocational or academic working and thinking level on a data/statistics level

  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in IT/Tech

  • Experience with Scrum way of working

  • Knowledge of statistics;

  • Experience with IT process and technology optimisation;

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Programming experience/skills are desirable
