We are Swapfiets: the bike membership. Started in 2014, started scaling in 2017 and are currently active in 70+ cities, across 9 different countries. We are on a mission to lead the movement to more liveable cities across Europe. Currently we have over 240,000 members on a blue tire.
For the rapid growth of Swapfiets, we are looking for a Product Sourcing Planner. As a Product Sourcing Planner you will make an important contribution to our logistics process. You ensure that our components are ordered and delivered at the right time and in the right quantities.
In addition, you follow up deliveries of parts to our sub-suppliers if necessary. You provide support with data management and you record bicycles in our systems.
You will be part of the seven headed Products team where you’ll report to the Product Sourcing Manager. Next to this you’ll be in touch with teams and partners in all different countries.
Send out orders of product (bikes + parts) on time and in the right quantity.
Coordinate global shipments from suppliers.
You investigate the supply chain options (to fly/ship) so decisions based on your advice can be made quickly.
Document all orders and shipments.
Improve the documentation structure.
Support the data management of product ordering.
Follow-up deliveries of parts to the sub-suppliers when needed.

As a Product Sourcing Planner you have proven that your order administration is on point. You are a team player who thinks ahead at all time. You have got experience with planning and logistics. You are ready for a challenge and can’t wait to join our mission > being the #1 micro mobility brand in the world! Also you have/are;
Higher vocational (HBO+) working and thinking level (for example in logistics/economics).
3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the logistic field.
Experience with planning processes.
Thorough analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills.
Fluent in English.
Nice to have;
Knowledge of the bike industry.
Extensive experience with Excel and stock planning (or able to learn fast).
