Do you want to turn the world of cycling upside down and take the physical and digital experience of more than 240.000 members and our entire servicing squad to the highest level? 

You keep the Swapfiets machine running together with the rest of the IT support team. As the technical know-everything team they support everyone with an IT-related problem. 

Your Goal 

The IT support team is responsible for all hardware, software and access management and also plays a leading role in security topics. Our motto is that we rather prevent than cure. That's why we need you to play a key role in challenges we are facing as a fast growing company. In which we regulate our access management, perform security tests, automate and centralize processes and ensure that everything works smoothly and securely within the organization. We are in it for the long haul! 

We want you to play a leading role in improving our IT- Support processes. This means, automate repetitive tasks, make sure we manage our Software the right way and be sharp on work processes that are not yet documented and can be improved. You will be successful if you lower our IT costs, reduce IT risk and improve the productivity and happiness of our colleagues. As a small team we have set the ambitious goal to create the smoothest and most secure (Digital) work environment possible for all of our colleagues around the world.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive improvements in our IT processes and support; 

  • Identify and manage risks and costs in these processes in close collaboration with other departments;

  • Take a leading role in defining and executing our IT life Cycle and coordinate the proper execution;

  • Lead on IT privacy and security topics by improving and contributing  to our privacy and security processes;

  • Contribute in global support on software, user and device management topics;

  • Coach less experienced IT supports to a higher level, helping each other grow while improving timely, cost-effective and quality compliance delivery;

  • Deliver insights and updates to stakeholders on team and management level.

Your Profile
You are going to be part of our IT support team with legal know how. You know why it is so important to make improvements on policies and toolings and keep in mind privacy & security rules and regulations making sure we are ready for the future! Next to this you bring:

  • Higher vocational or academic working and thinking level;

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in IT or process optimization;

  • Experience with improving (digital) work processes;

  • Affinity with software development;

  • Experience with IT security and privacy topics (incl. GDPR);

  • Experience with Scrum way of working;

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
