As the HR Generalist for Belgium you will be working mainly with our HR Advisor BNL to ensure that our Belgium Swapfiets employees do not lack anything. You are the right hand to our HR Advisor and you won’t turn your hand for the correct execution of HR administration and payroll. Besides that, you are also involved in various projects.
Advises the HR Advisor and HR topics for their country.
End responsible for HR services & payrolling in their country;
Is aware of HR policies & acts upon the policies in dealing with employee questions;
Helps with HR projects (Afas, Nostradamus optimization, etc);
Process personnel changes and manage the digital personnel files;
Carry out administrative work in the field of in- and out-services in the utmost accurate way;
Executes payroll in time and in full accuracy for all employees in the relevant country;
Has the ability to oversee the HR systems
Is responsible for data accuracy;
Set up contracts and other HR administration;
Develops managers by training them on HR topics (that is relevant for line managers);
Awareness of local labour law and implementation;
Administrative on- and off boarding of employees in country;
Flags where necessary to the right people in case workflows or systems are not working optimally;
Manages all country office related topics.
Secondary vocational or higher vocational working and thinking level;
5 - 7 years of relevant working experience in HR administration, local labour and social security law;
Knowledge of local labour law in Belgium;
Able to switch between strategic and operational tasks;
Integral view of HR systems;
Fluent in English and Dutch/Flemish, and preferably French;
Experience with/open to new cultures and ways of thinking since you will be working closely with our international HR team!
