Swapfiets is a classic start-up story, started by 3 students, who imagined that the bicycle world could be re-invented. No more worries about a broken bike or expensive repairs, but a subscription to a bike that always works. They started in Delft, The Netherlands, and over the course of the past years we have expanded to 7 countries and are available in more than 50 cities. With the latest expanding we are getting one step closer to our current goal: becoming the #1 micro mobility brand in the world! 

And with all these 50 cities (and counting) there is lots of maintenance! Therefore we are looking for a maintenance lead who will be managing the global work orders, coordinating the repairs but also keep track of the budget and be in charge of the real estate contractmanagement! 

Your Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops the workplace maintenance Swapfiets team and make sure they keep motivated
  • Responsible for the maintenance of global workplaces and management of work orders;
  • Coordinate the repairs and the facilities requirements of the Swapfiets workplace;
  • Responsible for the security infrastructure;
  • Maintains a strong connection with suppliers and contractors;
  • Communicates and presents progress to various levels of stakeholders;
  • Keeps track of the budget for maintenance projects, and manages maintenance contractors;
  • Supports the operation with expertise advice regarding maintenance
  • Manage the fleet contracts of Swapfiets.
  • Advice on the rent and service costs of a new store or warehouse;
  • Management of real estate contract maintenance and monitoring;
  • Responsible for the sourcing and invoicing of services and workplace supplies of Swapfiets.

Ihr Profil

Your Profile

  • Higher vocational working and thinking level;
  • 3-5 years working experience;
  • Working experience in facilities, workplace management and construction;
  • Technical insights;
  • Fluent in English and/or local language;
  • Technical drawing skills (autocad / sketchup).
