YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Acts as the Mechanic team foreman; 
• Responsible for the productivity and quality of the mechanics; 
• Coaching, inspiring and develop a team of more than 5 mechanics; 
• Supports colleagues regarding technical aspects of bike repairing for a team of more than 5 mechanics.
  • Team performance on output
  • Quality control output of individual
  • Training bike mechanics
  • Bike repair training of swappers/shophero's 
  • Attends Bike talks
  • Distribute bikes among bike mechanics
• Repairs, checks, and fixes bikes following Swapfiets standards;
• Prepares new bikes and make them roadworthy;
• Delivers on the Swapfiets quality promise;
• Support team to ensure good data entry quality in HOK;
• Anchored a lean-oriented way of working (together);
• Ensures perfect execution of global guidelines is achieved within budget.

YOUR PROFILE

• Secondary vocational education working or thinking level.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a foreman;
• Bike mechanic certificate a plus;
• Preferably at least 1 year of working experience as a bike mechanic;
• Affinity with bikes and service;
• Fluent in English and local language.
