We are Swapfiets; started in 2014 and currently active in 70+ cities, across 9 different countries. At our HQ in Amsterdam, we work with around a hundred colleagues to offer the very best user experience to our members, who in turn receive epic service from a team of 1500+ Swappers and Mechanics.
We are looking for a curious, data-driven and detail-oriented Product Manager for our Planning team. This team is responsible for both the appointments of delivering bikes by one of our vehicles, as well as appointments in our stores. In this role, you will be part of the Product team and get full responsibility for the planning domain. You are responsible for facilitating easy appointment planning for users and for our helpdesk. Through our solutions and route optimization API partner you drive the Cost Per Delivery down and the customer satisfaction up. You coordinate your in-house team with a UX designer, two back-enders, and a front-end developer.
In your day to day activities, you will work directly with your scrum team and stakeholders, ranging from our Retail and Logistics managers. This position requires a user-first mentality, strong eye for detail and an analytic mindset. You have robust stakeholder management skills, and have solid data available to back your arguments. We’re looking for a candidate who brings focus to the work, structure to the team, and clarity to the stakeholders. And in short: you like to make complex things simple.
Responsibilities
Lead strategy and roadmap prioritization for the planning team
Collaborate closely with digital Product Designers and Engineers to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market
Take part in user discovery, testing and advocating for building the right thing for our members
Lead impactful digital product changes and rollouts, facilitates change management
Optimizing our planning and route optimization to deliver the best results
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will have
Experience as planning / logistics product manager with in-house team
Strong ability to understand and design complex systems
Higher vocational or academic working - and thinking level
Minimum of 4-6 years experience as a Product Manager working on digital products
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern digital product discovery and delivery
Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
Experience with real Agile and Scrum way of working
Excellent communication skills in English
