As our Senior Store & Field Lead in Den Haag, you'll lead your own team of Swappers, bringing smiles to customers and keeping our iconic blue-tired bikes rolling smoothly. Whether you’re greeting members in-store, training your team for epic customer service, or boosting Swapfiets' presence in Den Haag through creative marketing, you're at the heart of our mission: hassle-free biking for everyone. How you pedal us forward

• You're in charge of keeping our daily store & field operations in Den Haag running smoothly.

• Lead and inspire your Swapper team (Store, Field, Repair Swappers, and Bike Hunters) 

• Coach your team on how to deliver next-level customer service.

• Take ownership of welcoming new Swappers and giving outgoing teammates a proper goodbye—always improving the onboarding and offboarding process.

• Be the friendly face of Swapfiets Den Haag, making sure every customer interaction is epic.

• Act as the go-to person connecting Swappers, customers, and the District Manager.

• Handle local recruitment and HR to build your dream team.

• Dream up and roll out fun, creative marketing activations that boost Swapfiets' visibility in your city

• Keep your eye on efficiency, manage costs smartly, and grow revenue for your city.

• Drive sales every day by turning amazing service into happy customers—and reach your commercial targets along the way.

  
  

The gear you need

• You speak Dutch and English fluently 

• You ideally have a driver’s license

• You’ve got an amazing customer focus and know how to put a smile on our members’ faces

• Affinity for bikes - prior bike mechanic experience is a plus, but not mandatory (we teach you everything you need to know!)

• You prefer to work independently and can therefore make the right decisions

• You feel good about your day when every member got great service and your team worked hard and was motivated

• With your help everybody knows what to do, you always communicate clearly and honestly

• You live in Den Haag and you know the city like the back of your hand
