As the Global Supply Chain Manager, your goal is to ensure the right products reach every Swapfiets location at the right time through a strong logistics strategy and end-to-end ownership of S&OP and S&OE processes. You manage global inventory, lead the Supply Chain team, select logistics partners, and optimize cross-location flows and network design. By aligning with Procurement and key stakeholders, you drive a resilient, cost-efficient, and scalable supply chain.

How you pedal us forward

• Defines logistics strategy for bikes, parts aligned with Operations Strategy;

• Assures that Swapfiets locations receive the right products at the right time;

• End to end responsible for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) + Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes;

• Drives resolution of S&OP escalations / decisions, involving the Management Team (1/month);

• Communicates the supply plan to global Swapfiets stakeholders;

• Leads and develops the individuals within the Supply Chain team;

• Selects the best logistics partners to store and distribute our products;

• Manages the internal supply chain of Swapfiets’ newly produced bikes and parts;

• Is accountable for global inventory management of 450,000+ assets;

• Stock management parts SAP in conjunction with sourcing;

• Leverages network optimization model to validate and upgrade repair/storage network and is the process owner stock count;

• Decides on, and supports local sites around cross-location transport flows including over-flow locations;

• Monitors scanning standards and inventory data integrity;

• Advices and aligns with Procurement on (minimum order quantities) MOQ’s to optimize cost to company.

The gear you need

• Academic working and thinking level; 

• 7 - 10 years of relevant working experience;

• Excellent in English and/or Dutch;

• Minimum 4 years of relevant Supply Chain management experience;

• Strong leadership skills;

• Advanced written and oral communication skills;

• Strong analytical skills;

• Ability to provide direction to the entire company;

• Pragmatic decision maker.
