As a Mechanic Lead in our warehouse in Groningen, you are the essential link in our operations. You lead the workshop team and are responsible for the repair and maintenance of our bikes and e-bikes, as well as their quality and safety.
In close cooperation with the logistics team, you ensure that we are never caught by surprise and always have enough bikes and spare parts in stock. And last – perhaps most importantly – you create a safe and enjoyable working environment for your team members.

Your profile: 

• You have experience leading and developing a team, ideally a diverse team with different nationalities.

• You have relevant experience as a bicycle mechanic or in a comparable technical field and possess strong technical knowledge.

• You know how to coach and inspire colleagues.

• You are available full-time.

• You have a strong eye for detail and work very accurately.

• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good command of English.

• You are passionate about bikes and micromobility.

Your responsabilities: 

• You coordinate daily operations and organize team meetings that keep everyone motivated.

• As Mechanic Lead, you also support HR processes such as recruiting, performance management, sick leave, and vacation planning.

• You ensure that our warehouse stock is always up to date.

• You coordinate quality checks and process the insights gained.

• You support new colleagues during onboarding and run training sessions together with our Training & Quality Mechanic.

• You ensure a safe working environment.

• We aim to build a 100% recyclable bike. As the main point of contact for waste streams in the workshop, you play a key role in our sustainability efforts.
